Sewage collection systems will vary depending on property location. For residences with holding tanks, the Linn Valley Lakes Property Owners Association (POA) provides collection services for a fee. Contact the POA at 913.757.4591.
The City recently installed a low pressure sewer system with a grinder pump in the line. Service is currently provided to approximately 260 homes in Linn Valley. For reference, Ordinance #188 lists lots within the sewer district. Each residence served by the sewer has a grinder pump that requires proper care and maintenance. See the Grinder Pump Maintenance Guide. Payments for service can be made in person at City Hall, by mail, Direct Withdrawal from a bank or savings account or Online Bill Pay. There are several service options for water usage depending on property location. Providers are Rural Water District #1 and Property Owners Association (POA). The POA operates a water line for some households. The POA also provides water through a tank truck delivery service or coin operated bulk water-fill station.

Service is provided by Peoples Telecommunications located in LaCygne. Television can be provided by Peoples Telecommunications as well as Direct TV and Dish Network.
Delivery and pick-up is provided at a covered facility just inside the gates of Linn Valley Lakes or by home delivery. A full service U.S. Post Office is located in LaCygne.
School for Kindergarten through 5th grade is located at LaCygne Elementary School. Grades 6 through 12 are at Prairie View High School, located just west of LaCygne. Bus service is available from Linn Valley for both schools.
Medical service is available at LaCygne Family Care Clinic. The nearest hospital is Miami County Medical Center in Paola, Kansas
